VMware Documentation
Pivotal Container Service 1.0
| Developing NSX and vSphere topics for initial releases of the PKS documentation. Joint project with Pivotal via a shared GitHub documentation repo. Crowdsourcing model in which contributors submit documentation (in GitHub markdown) via pull requests. Photon OS 2.0
| Developed new 2.0 content for open source initiative for a container-optimized Linux OS. Crowdsourcing model in which contributors submit documentation updates (in GitHub markdown) via pull requests. This site also seamlessly integrates a separate GitHub repo (wiki content) into a single portal page. Technologies: Linux, Docker, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Compute Engine (GCE), Microsoft Azure, VMware vSphere. |
Distributed Network Encryption (NSX-T)
| Wrote new chapter on Distributed Network Encryption (DNE) and new section on Key Manager installation for VMware's Network Virtualization and Security Platform (NSX-T). |
NSX-V Partner APIs (RAML) — partner sections
| Developed REST API documentation for partner-only APIs. Partners use these APIs in their security appliances (firewall and anti-virus) that are add-on products to NSX for vSphere virtual network deployments. The PDF was created to provide a flat, searchable document for REST API developers. |
Ooyala Documentation
OVP Introduction
| Created an overview topic to describe the top-level workflow / lifecycle phases of video assets stored and managed in Ooyala Backlot. |
Ingestion
| Rewrote and reorganized documentation for ingesting content (videos and closed caption files) into Ooyala Backlot for subsequent transcoding. Added illustrations to clarify the architecture and run-time flow of the ingest process. |
Player Ads Integration
| Wrote original content and added illustrations to show the run-time flow of third-party ads shown to consumers during video playback. |
Player Analytics Integration
| Wrote original content and added illustrations to show the run-time flow for the reporting of video playback run-time events to third-party analytics providers. |
